Pakistani Superstar Mahira Khan has finally broken the silence on her pregnancy rumours with her husband Salim Karim. Several reports based on a now-deleted Reddit post claimed that Khan is pregnant and would soon welcome her second child with Salim Karim whom she married in 2023. Khan while talking to a Pakistani media outlet The Express Tribune, dismissed these rumours and said, "It’s not true that I’m pregnant.

Rumours about Khan exiting Netflix shows like 'Jo Bachey Sang Samait Lo' and another untitled project also did rounds on social media. However, Mahira Khan has denied those rumours as well and said, "And I haven’t left the Netflix series." The rumours started when a Reddit post as per India Today said, "So, I got this news from a close source that she opted out of the esteemed Netflix project alongside a big film as she’s expecting her second child somewhere in August or September."

The Reddit post further stated, "An announcement could be made soon or not if she chooses to announce it after birth but as she’s a big celeb and can’t keep it lowkey for long, I personally feel that she will announce." With Mahira Khan herself denying the rumours, the actor's privacy should be respected and false claims be nullified.

Mahira Khan rose to popularity in India after her Pakistani drama 'Humsafar' alongside Fawad Khan was aired in India in 2014 on the Zindagi channel. She also starred in the 2017 Hindi film 'Raees' opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Khan ended her first marriage with Ali Askari in 2015 with whom she had her first child Azlan in 2009.
