Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan recently criticised Ashneer Grover for allegedly spreading false statements about him in the ‘weekend ka vaar’ episode. The interaction video of the same went viral on social media. Now, the entrepreneur cleared his stance on his X account and justified his point. He first highlighted the hosting skills of the superstar. Ashneer also stressed that deal numbers were corrected which was earlier mentioned in the podcast. He also shared his happiness to have a picture with Salman Khan on the sets of Bigg Boss. 

Ashneer wrote on X, “I hope you enjoyed the Bigg Boss weekend ka vaar ! I had good fun. And I am sure the particular episode got great TRP / viewership. BTW all of statements below are TRUE:”

He also continued, “- Salman is a great host & actor - Salman knows what works on Bigg Boss - I’ve always praised Salman for his sense of self and business - not a single thing demeaning said for him ever - My deal numbers are always correct (bank / auditor verified) - Met Salman in an exclusive meeting on the brand collab for 3 hours in May 2019 in JW Marriott Juhu - along with the director of ad (it’s ok if he doesn’t remember me - I was not a public figure then - he meets tons of people) - The invite for coming as guest on Bigg Boss was not ‘unnamed’ - just like the cheque for the same ;).” 

He added, “And finally I’ve a pic with him - which I didn’t earlier ;) Thanks @BeingSalmanKhan . Keep rocking !”

In the ‘weekend ka vaar’ episode, Salman accused Ashneer of making false claims about their professional dealings a few years back. While reacting to the same, the entrepreneur defended himself and said that Salman was one of his smartest moves. He also clarified that his podcast statements were shown in a dramatic way. 

For the unversed, Ashneer shared on a previous podcast that Salman declined to take a picture with him during the 2019 shoot. He also mentioned that he tried to convince the actor to lower his fees for an advertisement.
