Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan returned as a host to the popular reality show after Anil Kapoor hosted the Bigg Boss OTT 3. While fans missed him as the host, this time Salman came with major twists in the show with a theme of ‘Time Ka Tandav’. Fans are over the heels for seeing their favourite Television stars inside the BB house. But do you know, how much Salman is charging to host this season? Well! The amount might blow your mind as his fees are reportedly more than the budget of Baahubali. The actor continues to become the highest-paid Television star over a decade since he started hosting Bigg Boss.
Salman Khan’s Fees For Bigg Boss 18
As per reports, Salman is charging Rs 60 crore per month to host Bigg Boss 18. Which makes him the highest-paid Television personality. A source told Hindustan Times that his fees is a combination of a per-episode payment along with a lump sum contract. This comes in a total whopping amount of Rs 60 crore per month. So if the season continues for 15 weeks, then Salman will take home Rs 250 crore by the end of Bigg Boss 18.
His fees surpass the budget of SS Rajamouli’s cult movie Baahubali which was made with Rs 180 crore. His other contemporaries like Kapil Sharma earned Rs 60 crore for hosting the first season of the Netflix show The Great Indian Kapil Show. On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan takes Rs 5 crore per episode to host Kaun Banega Crorepati 16.
Coming back to Bigg Boss 18, this season several contestants like Chaahat Pandey, Shehzada Dhami, Avinash Mishra, Shilpa Shirodkar, Tajinder Singh Bagga, Shrutika Arjun, Nyrraa M Banerji, Chum Darang, Karan Veer Mehra, Rajat Dalal, Muskan Bamne, Arfeen Khan, Sara Arfeen Khan, Hema Sharma, Gunratan Sadavarte, Eisha Singh, Vivian DSena, Alice Kaushik and Gadhraj have participated in the show.
