Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan’s show has been making headlines for several reasons. Alice Kaushik, who is one of the strong contenders in the house, recently had a breakdown after Khan informed her that her boyfriend Kanwar Dhillon denied her marriage proposal statement in his interviews. This also created chaos outside the house as many people trolled Dhillon for his denial. Now speaking on the same, the actor stated that his statement about the marriage proposal was perceived in the wrong way.

In an interview with Times of India, Dhillon said “I don't want to give any advice, I don't need to give any clarity to anyone. I am supporting Alice, I don't need to clarify that again and again. I didn't say anything that I needed to clarify, of course, people perceived that in their own way and commented on it. Woh duniya ka kaam hai, tawa garam tha aur roti sekne aa gaye. They just commented watching the promo and didn't understand what I was trying to say. Inhe paid critics bhi kehte hai. So I don't react to such people. Those who have a doubt can call me and ask. I don't think I need to clarify to those whom I don't know. When things are good, people don't come to ask right so what's the point in poking nose when something else happens. I know what I was saying, so I don't waste my energy in explaining.”

In an earlier statement with ETimes, the actor said “Shaadi ka chakkar Mujhe Samajh nahi aaya. I don’t know where these rumours are coming from. Don’t believe social media, as most of the things are fake and rubbish.”

This week Arfeen Khan was eliminated from the show. Bigg Boss 18 premieres everyday on ColorsTV and also streams on JioCinema.
