Bigg Boss 19 Top 5 Contestants: Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Salman Khan, is gearing up for its grand finale on December 7. During the final weekend, two candidates were eliminated. Ashnoor Kaur was evicted during the weekend, while Shehbaz Badesha faced eviction in the mid-week. Following that, the Bigg Boss 19 makers announced their top six contestants - Pranit More, Tanya Mittal, Amaal Mallik, Farrhana Bhaat, Malti Chahar, and Gaurav Khanna. The Bigg Boss 19 makers elimimated one more competitor during the mid-week eviction, unveiling the season's top five ahead of grand finale.
Bigg Boss 19 contestant Malti Chahar, who entered the show as a wildcard contestant, was evicted three days before the grand finale. The unsafe contestants were asked to write their names on a cue card and throw it into the burner. If the smoke is green, which indicated the safety while the red smoke meant elimination. Gaurav Khanna has already secured his place as the first runner-up of Bigg Boss 19, so he was relieved from the task. When Malti Chahar checked the results, the appearance of red smoke ensured her elimination from the show.

Bigg Boss 19 makers dropped a brief promo, featuring snippets of Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, Farrhana Bhatt, Gaurav Khanna, and Pranit More, however Malti Chahar was noticeably absent. Her unexpected absence prompted followers to question the choice for the top five. Some social media users and Malti fans have claimed that the competition is manipulated and that the top five contestants have already been chosen.
