Reality TV star and YouTuber Abhishek Malhan, popularly known as Fukra Insaan, has strongly reacted to ongoing engagement rumours linking him with actress Jiya Shankar. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 finalist has expressed his anger and disappointment, urging people to stop associating his name with anyone and to respect his personal space. The rumours recently resurfaced on social media, with several posts claiming that Abhishek and Jiya were planning to get engaged. These claims quickly went viral, prompting backlash and forcing both parties to respond. While Jiya Shankar had already dismissed the speculation earlier, Abhishek has now directly addressed the issue with a firm statement.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Abhishek Malhan shared a strongly worded note, making his stance clear once again. Visibly upset, he stated that he is tired of being repeatedly linked to the same person despite having clarified his position multiple times in the past. In his note, Abhishek wrote, “I want to make one thing very clear please stop linking my name with anyone. I was part of a show three years ago, and that chapter ended there. My choices and stance were made very clear back then, and nothing has changed since.” Expressing frustration, he added, “What’s disappointing is that this has become a pattern. Almost every year, out of nowhere, the same narratives resurface without any reason or context. Even I can see it, and I believe the audience is smart enough to notice this pattern too.” Concluding his message, he stated, “I don’t entertain or participate in such games, assumptions, or unnecessary speculation. I prefer focusing on my work and moving forward positively. I request everyone to respect that and let things rest.” His statement was widely shared online, with many fans supporting his demand for privacy.

Earlier, Jiya Shankar had also dismissed the engagement buzz. She shared a picture with a mystery man on social media and subtly addressed the gossip by writing, “Let’s leave false rumours in 2025!” The post made it clear that she is neither engaged to Abhishek nor romantically involved with him. Jiya has consistently maintained that her bond with Abhishek was purely platonic. Reports have also suggested that the two are no longer even close friends.
