In the dynamic world of Kpop, collaborations and interactions between artists often spark excitement among fans. Recently, an unexpected exchange between two Kpop idols, BLACKPINK’s Jennie and SEVENTEEN’s Woozi, caught the attention of fans worldwide, leading to speculation about their friendship.
On April 26, rapper Zico released a collaboration track with Jennie titled SPOT. This release was met with much excitement from fans, who praised the song and its music video. However, what truly surprised fans was Woozi's reaction to the track. Despite his infrequent activity on Instagram, Woozi took to the platform to share a snippet of the song, tagging both Zico and Jennie. He expressed his admiration by commenting, “This combo is crazy…”
Fans were quick to notice Jennie’s response to Woozi’s post. She reposted his Instagram story with her caption, expressing her excitement for SEVENTEEN’s upcoming comeback and mentioning the title track, 'Maestro', from their new album '17 Is Right Here'. This unexpected interaction left fans buzzing with speculation about their relationship and how they came to know each other. Interestingly, Jennie was also spotted at SEVENTEEN's concert on April 27, 2024.

This interaction between Jennie and Woozi adds to the list of SEVENTEEN x BLACKPINK moments in 2024. Previously, Mingyu was seen engaging with Jisoo and Lisa separately at different designer events, further fueling excitement among fans of both groups.
Jennie, a South Korean pop vocalist, rose to fame as a member of the powerhouse girl group BLACKPINK. Before joining YG Entertainment as a trainee in 2010, Jennie pursued her studies in New Zealand. Her solo debut with the song "SOLO" in 2018 solidified her status as a K-pop sensation. In 2021, Jennie worked on a fashion editorial for Vogue Korea’s March issue.
On the other hand, Lee Ji Hoon, professionally known as Woozi, is a multi-talented artist under Pledis Entertainment. As a member of SEVENTEEN, Woozi is the leader of the vocal team and is renowned for his exceptional songwriting and producing skills. His proficiency in multiple instruments, including guitar, drums, clarinet, and piano, has earned him widespread acclaim in the music industry.
In January 2019, Woozi was officially recognized as a full member of the Korean Music Copyright Association (KOMCA). His contributions to SEVENTEEN’s music and his interactions with artists from other groups continue to showcase his versatility and talent.
