Fans speculate that the song might delve into themes of breaking free from the lingering memories of a past lover. Known for her artistic ingenuity, Jennie is expected to deliver a unique and visually stunning music video to accompany the track.

Adding to the excitement, Jennie previously shared a cryptic story on social media showing a burial site from an underground perspective. A man holding blue flowers, similar to those in the teaser photo, was seen inside the graveyard, with Jennie and her team looking down from above. Fans believe this image was taken during the filming of the Love Hangover music video.

The South Korean rapper also teased fans with a snippet of the song on her official portal website. The teaser featured a telephone image accompanied by groovy beats and the repeated phrase, “call me back,” which many believe could be a hint at the song’s lyrics.

Jennie stunned fans on January 25 by dropping the music video for her track ZEN without any prior announcement. The song was released hours after she revealed the dates for her upcoming live shows to promote her album Ruby.

The ZEN music video is a visual masterpiece that showcases Jennie’s powerful vocals and dynamic stage presence. With its empowering lyrics, the track encourages self-belief and resilience in the face of challenges. Lines like, “Shoot, shoot, shoot, I make them scatter / They can't move my matter,” and “I ain't what you think about me,” highlight themes of confidence and self-discovery.

In the MV, Jennie is seen embodying various elements of nature, such as fire, rain, and an enchanting forest, while donning stunning outfits that range from a gold ensemble to a look featuring large bird-like wings. Fans have praised the song’s message and Jennie’s bold visuals, predicting that ZEN will soon go viral on social media.

Jennie’s debut studio album, Ruby, is set to release on March 7, 2025, and will include the pre-release tracks ZEN and Love Hangover. The album marks Jennie’s first full-length solo project, following her previous releases like Mantra in October last year.
