Zico recently sat down for an interview with Billboard to discuss his latest release, SPOT!, which features BLACKPINK's Jennie. The song, released on April 26, marks the first collaboration between these two talented artists.

Though their friendship is relatively new, Zico and Jennie have grown close quickly. During the interview, Zico shared a thrilling revelation: he had the privilege of listening to Jennie's upcoming solo tracks. He confirmed that Jennie is working on more than one song and that he got to hear their demo versions.

"I had the chance to peek at Jennie’s to-be-released solo track demos," Zico said. Zico was highly impressed by what he heard. While he couldn't give away too many details, he expressed his admiration for the quality of Jennie's new music. "There were so many good ones," he remarked.

In addition to praising her music, Zico also had high praise for Jennie as an artist. He highlighted her professionalism, which was evident during both the recording process and the music video shoot.

"Everything about her is charming. From vocals and visuals to acting, as well as her sense of professionalism in bringing the song to fruition—it’s all these things combined. But personally, I think it was her professionalism," Zico noted.

Earlier this month during her MET Gala appearance, Jennie herself confirmed that her new solo album is on the way. She teased fans with a hint of what's to come, saying, "I also have a lot more coming with my album, wink, wink. I hope everyone’s excited for that, too."
