BLACKPINK Jisoo is gearing up for her much-awaited solo comeback with AMORTAGE, set to release on February 14. However, fans were left surprised when it was revealed that the album would include only four tracks. While excitement remains high for Jisoo’s return, many BLINKs expressed disappointment over the limited number of songs.
After a long wait, fans had hoped for a more extensive album, especially since fellow BLACKPINK members Rosé, Lisa, and Jennie have all released longer projects. With AMORTAGE featuring just four tracks, some BLINKs feel that the album doesn’t offer enough content, especially considering Jisoo’s two-year break from solo music.
AMORTAGE has the following four tracks:
Earthquake
Hugs & Kisses
Your Love
Tears

Despite some initial disappointment, BLINKs remain eager to hear Jisoo’s unique musical style and storytelling in AMORTAGE. While the short tracklist has left fans wanting more, Jisoo has reassured them that this is just the beginning. She reportedly selected these songs to fit a specific concept and has already begun working on her next album, which will include additional tracks.

Balancing her music and acting career has also played a role in the album’s length. Over the past year, Jisoo has been involved in multiple acting projects, including the upcoming film Newtopia, set to premiere on February 7, and her highly anticipated big-screen debut in Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, which is scheduled for a summer 2025 release. Additionally, her drama Boyfriend on Demand is expected to air later this year.
Alongside her album release, Jisoo has launched a new mobile application called JISOO, which is now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The app’s purpose remains a mystery, but fans speculate it could serve as a hub for exclusive content, updates, and possibly even album-related activities.
Following AMORTAGE, BLACKPINK’s Lisa will drop her full-length album ALTER EGO on February 28, and Jennie is set to make her solo return on March 7. After completing their solo schedules, BLACKPINK is expected to make a group comeback in May 2025, a highly anticipated moment for fans worldwide.
