BLACKPINK Jisoo is all set to make 2025 a year of acting milestones. The Kpop sensation, who took a self-imposed break from music to focus on her acting career, has at least three exciting projects lined up for her fans. One of Jisoo's highly anticipated Kdramas, previously titled Monthly Boyfriend, has undergone a name change.
The drama, which pairs Jisoo with Seo In-Guk, will now be called Boyfriend On Demand. The updated title came to light after an image of the drama's script cover surfaced online, revealing the new English name.

Jisoo’s upcoming Kdrama Newtopia has been generating buzz for its unique storyline. Starring alongside Park Jeong-Min, Jisoo will portray Kang Young-Joo, a woman juggling career challenges amidst a zombie outbreak in Seoul. Park plays Lee Jae-Yoon, a man completing his mandatory military service.

This action-packed thriller blends romance, comedy, and suspense as the couple navigates their personal and professional lives while battling the undead. Newtopia is set to premiere globally on Prime Video and Korean streamer Coupang Play on February 7, 2025, with episodes releasing weekly.
Jisoo is also making her feature film debut in Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, alongside a stellar cast that includes Lee Min-Ho, Chae Soo-Bin and Ahn Hyo-Seop. The film is based on the popular web novel and is expected to hit theatres in the summer of 2025. Jisoo’s journey from BLACKPINK’s vocalist to a solo artist and now a promising actor is inspiring. After launching her solo label BLISSOO in 2024, she has been actively pursuing acting roles while keeping fans excited about her evolving career.
