BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has achieved a remarkable feat, wrapping up the filming of two significant acting projects within a year. Known for her talent and dedication, Jisoo has once again proven her versatility and commitment to her craft, much to the delight of her fans, BLINKs, who are cheering for the hardworking Kim Jisoo.

Recently, Jisoo announced via her Instagram story that she had completed filming for her upcoming zombie thriller Kdrama, Influenza, alongside Park Jeong Min. Expressing her gratitude, Jisoo thanked the cast and crew for their hard work, marking the end of an intense and exciting production phase. The Instagram story featured a cheerful Jisoo celebrating the wrap-up, much to the excitement of her followers.

Influenza is set in an air defence unit in Seoul and follows the story of a recently broken-up couple, soldier Lee Jae Yoon (played by Park Jeong Min) and Kang Young Joo (portrayed by Jisoo). As they navigate their breakup, a zombie apocalypse erupts, forcing them to confront dangerous zombies and fight for survival. The series promises a thrilling narrative as the characters grow stronger and more resilient amid the chaos.

The drama, based on Han Sang Woon's novel, boasts a script penned by Parasite writer Han Ji Won and direction by Yoon Sung Hyun, known for Time to Hunt.

Jisoo also recently completed filming for Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, where she stars alongside Lee Min-ho and Ahn Hyo-seop. This project, based on the popular webtoon by Sing Shong, follows Kim Dok Ja (Ahn Hyo-seop), whose world transforms into that of the web novel he reads. Lee Min-ho plays Yoo Joong Hyuk, the main character of the fictional web novel, while Jisoo portrays Lee Ji Hye.

BLINKs have been ecstatic about her recent accomplishments. Completing two major projects in such a short span is a testament to Jisoo's dedication and passion for her acting career. Social media has been abuzz with praise and support, celebrating her achievements and eagerly anticipating her upcoming performances.

Jisoo, full name Kim Jisoo, debuted with BLACKPINK in August 2016 and quickly rose to fame as a singer and performer. She made her acting debut with a cameo in the Kdrama The Producers and landed her first lead role in the romantic-action drama Snowdrop alongside Jung Hae In. Her journey from a Kpop idol to a recognized actress has been marked by hard work and perseverance, earning her admiration from fans and peers alike.
