BLACKPINK Comeback: Blackpink is one of the most popular girls' groups in the world and is currently on a break to focus on their solo careers. The members renewed their contract with their agency YG Entertainment but only for group activities and decided to part ways for their individual projects. YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk has now dropped the most awaited update about the future of BLACKPINK and revealed their further plans.

BLACKPINK Comeback Plans:

YG Entertainment dropped a video on its official YouTube channel and revealed the agency’s plans for 2025. Founder Yang Hyun Suk revealed that Blackpink will make its comeback in 2025 and will release an album as well. Not much has been revealed about the group's concert and album.

He further revealed that popular Kpop group 2NE1 will also hold concerts in October 2024 to celebrate 15h debut anniversary.

It has already been announced that BLACKPINK members will conduct a fan sign event 'OUR AREA WITH BLINK' to celebrate the group’s 8th debut anniversary. The event will be held on August 8.

BLACKPINK Members' Solo Projects:  

On the work front, Jisoo will be seen in the movie 'Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint', based on a webtoon of the same name. The movie revolves around Dokja, who is an average office worker and shows a great interest in reading the web novel 'Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse.' His life turns upside down when the novel's story becomes a reality and he is the only person who is aware of how the world will end. Dokja uses his knowledge to change the story and survive. The movie also stars Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Nana and Chae Soobin.

She will be seen in the kdrama 'Influenza' alongside 'Start-Up' actor Park Jung-Min. The movie is based on a novel written by author Han Sang-woon and will focus on a zombie apocalypse that happens before a couple decides to break up.

Rose recently collaborated with the survival show 'I-LAND 2: N/a' to lend her voice to its song. She has teamed up with The Black Label for her solo projects. Lisa will make her acting debut in 'The White Lotus Season 3' and recently released her solo song 'Rockstar'. Jennie recently teamed up with Zico for the song 'Spot' and will soon release her album.
