BLACKPINK Jisoo is gearing up for an exciting return to the music scene. During a recent fan sign event celebrating the group's 8th debut anniversary, she revealed that her highly anticipated second solo album is currently in the works. When a fan expressed their hope for her new album, Jisoo enthusiastically responded, "It's being prepared!" This confirmation has sent waves of excitement through the fandom, with fans eagerly awaiting her next musical offering. She further reassured the fan with a strong "yes" when asked if the album would definitely happen, putting any doubts to rest.

Jisoo's first solo album, *ME*, released over a year ago, won hearts and accolades alike, making fans even more eager for her return. Recently, she hinted at her comeback on the social media platform Bubble, stating, "After filming is over, I will work hard to prepare so that I can meet Blink again soon." This statement added to the excitement surrounding her new music.

 

In addition to her music career, Jisoo has been busy with acting projects. After leaving YG Entertainment in December 2023, she launched her own label, BLISSOO, in February 2024. This new venture aims to allow Jisoo to share her artistry and happiness in her unique way.

In 2024, Jisoo took a brief hiatus from music to focus on acting. She will star in the upcoming K-drama Newtopia (previously titled Influenza), directed by Yoon Sung-hyun, alongside Park Jung-min and Kim Joon-han. Furthermore, she is set to make her big screen debut in Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, featuring Lee Min-ho, Chae Soo-bin and Ahn Hyo-seop. This film is slated for release in the summer of 2025, marking a significant milestone in her acting career.
