BLACKPINK member Jisoo is well known for her singing skills but has also impressed her fans with her acting. She has taken a new path in her career after making a dream acting debut as the lead in the kdrama 'Snowdrop'. She has two other acting projects lined up as well and fans are eagerly waiting to see her in new characters. According to the latest buzz, Jisoo has been approached to star in a new Kdrama titled 'Monthly Boyfriend'.

According to reports by South Korean news outlets, Jisoo has been offered the lead role in the upcoming drama Monthly Boyfriend. Her agency Blisoo has reportedly confirmed the news and revealed that the 'Flower' singer is currently in talks for the show. Not many details about the plot or star cast of the show have been revealed yet.

For the unversed, Jisoo made her acting debut in the show 'The Producers' and was seen in a cameo role. She officially made her debut in the kdrama 'Snowdrop' opposite Jung Hae In and received praise for her stellar performance.

Jisoo will be seen in the movie 'Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint', based on a webtoon of the same name. The movie revolves around Dokja, who is an average office worker and shows a great interest in reading the web novel 'Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse.' His life turns upside down when the novel's story becomes a reality and he is the only person who is aware of how the world will end. Dokja uses his knowledge to change the story and survive. The movie also stars Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Nana and Chae Soobin.

She will also star in the kdrama 'Newtopia' alongside 'Start-Up' actor Park Jung-Min. The movie is based on a novel written by author Han Sang-woon and will focus on a zombie apocalypse that happens before a couple decides to break up. The makers recently unveiled the show's first look and it is expected to release by 2025.

On the work front, Jisoo will make her comeback with Blackpink in 2025. In an interview with Marie Claire, Jisoo said, "It seems like we will meet BLINKS more often next year. I have always hoped that BLINKs can gain energy from meeting BLACKPINK. I'm looking forward to the shining moments with BLINKS.”

Jisoo earlier made her solo debut with her single 'Flower'.
