BLACKPINK Jisoo, known for her captivating performances and multifaceted talent, recently shared a heartfelt moment with fans. In a recent interview with Hypebeast, the Kpop icon revealed that she rewatched the Disney movie Coco and was moved to tears by its emotional story. “I love Disney movies, so I recently watched Coco again and cried because I was so touched,” Jisoo confessed. Her connection to the film’s themes of family and remembrance resonated deeply, offering a glimpse into her reflective and sensitive side.

Beyond this personal revelation, Jisoo also opened up about her ongoing work on a new music project. She explained that she is putting even more effort into this release compared to her first solo album, ME. “Being directly involved in the overall production process of the album has brought many challenging moments,” Jisoo shared. “However, as I focus on what the fans will enjoy and carefully prepare each detail, the experience becomes even more enjoyable.”

Jisoo’s solo debut in 2023 with the album ME marked a significant milestone in her career. The lead single, FLOWER, became an instant global hit, showcasing her vocal versatility and artistic identity. This success not only solidified her position as a soloist but also demonstrated her ability to connect with audiences worldwide.

Jisoo’s talents extend beyond music. Her acting debut in the 2021 Kdrama Snowdrop introduced her to a broader audience. Playing the role of Eun Young-ro, a university student navigating love and survival during turbulent times, she impressed viewers with her performance alongside co-star Jung Hae-in. Jisoo is now set to star in The Prophet: Omniscient Reader, directed by Kim Byung-woo and has another Kdrama, Boyfriend on Demand, in the pipeline. Her zombie thriller Kdrama Newtopia alongside Park Jeong Min will premiere soon.
