BLACKPINK Jisoo recently made waves when she playfully claimed that she “raised” MEOVV's Ella during a fan interaction. When a fan asked Jisoo on the Bubble app if she had seen MEOVV's video teaser, the fan mentioned how pretty Ella looked. Jisoo responded with affection, referring to Ella as "Our Ella" and humorously added, “I for-real raised her (?) A lot of people are claiming this so we’re fighting kekeke.” This lighthearted exchange not only highlighted Jisoo’s close relationship with Ella but also stirred excitement among fans eager to see the bond between BLACKPINK and the rising stars.

Jisoo’s support for Ella didn’t stop there. She also shared Ella’s member reveal video on her Instagram story, cheering for her as she steps into the spotlight. Many fans have noticed the strong connection between Ella and the BLACKPINK members, with numerous photos of a young Ella alongside Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rosé circulating online. South Korean media and fans have even dubbed Ella as 'Little Jennie' on several occasions.

MEOVV: The Black Label’s New Girl Group Ready to Take Over Kpop

The Black Label, an agency founded by legendary producer Teddy Park, is set to make waves in the Kpop scene with its first-ever girl group, MEOVV. This debut marks a significant milestone for the agency, which has been home to big names like Taeyang and Jeon Somi. Now, with MEOVV, The Black Label is ready to introduce a new era of talent.

MEOVV is slated to make their highly anticipated debut on September 6, 2024, with their lead single MEOW. The buzz surrounding the group has been building ever since The Black Label began teasing their debut. On September 2, the agency released a cinematic trailer featuring the five members, which only heightened fans' excitement.

Meet the Members of MEOVV

MEOVV consists of five members, each bringing their unique charm and talents to the group:

ELLA:The youngest member, Ella, has been with The Black Label since 2018 as a model. Known for her close relationship with BLACKPINK and her resemblance to Jennie, Ella was also a popular American child model and actress before joining the Kpop scene. She has worked with well-known brands like Zara, H&M and Gap, making her a familiar face even before her official debut.

GAWON: Gawon is a former YG Entertainment trainee with American-Korean roots. She has a background in modelling, having appeared in Adidas ads, and is known for her striking visuals and charismatic presence.

SOOIN: A graduate of the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA), Sooin is the oldest member of the group. Her passion for dancing and her resemblance to Miss A's Bae Suzy have already garnered her a significant fan following.

ANNA: The only Japanese member of MEOVV, Anna, began her modeling career in Japan in 2014. Her diverse experience in the entertainment industry adds a unique flavour to the group.

NARIN: Although not much is known about Narin, she was introduced as the final member of MEOVV on August 29. Fans are eager to learn more about her as the group’s debut approaches. She is most likely to be the main rapper in the group. 

With such a dynamic lineup, MEOVV is expected to make a significant impact on the Kpop industry. The group’s announcement trailer, featuring stylish shots and a contemporary vibe, has already left fans speculating that MEOVV might be the next trendsetter in the realm of Kpop.
