BLACKPINK Lisa has just revealed her upcoming single New Woman, featuring Spanish reggaeton-pop star Rosalía. This highly-anticipated track is set to drop on August 15, 2024, at 8 PM EST (August 16, 5:30 AM IST), across all streaming and digital platforms. New Woman marks Lisa’s second single under her label, LLOUD. Her previous single, Rockstar, was a massive hit, making waves on local and international charts.

The success of Rockstar has fans eagerly awaiting this new release. In addition to her solo tracks MONEY and LALISA, New Woman will be Lisa's fourth solo track. Lisa gave fans a sneak peek of New Woman on her TikTok account, sharing a twelve-second teaser of her rap verse. The teaser quickly went viral, increasing anticipation for the full track.

Lisa and Rosalía have been open about their friendship since April 2023, frequently sharing photos of their time on social media. Fans have been speculating about a collaboration between the two ever since, and this announcement confirms those rumours.

Lisa's Rockstar enjoyed significant acclaim, peaking at No. 8 on the Billboard Philippines’ Hot 100 charts and maintaining its position within the Hot 100 for over a month. As of August 10, 2024, the song remains strong at No. 38.

Lisa established her label, LLOUD, in February 2024. Through a partnership with RCA Records, she retains full ownership of her music, a groundbreaking move in the industry. Beyond her solo endeavours, Lisa is set to reunite with her BLACKPINK bandmates for another world tour in 2025, as announced by YG Entertainment. The group recently released a concert film of their BORN PINK World Tour, now showing in cinemas worldwide.
