BLACKPINK Rosé has taken the music world by storm with her latest single APT., a collaboration with pop sensation Bruno Mars. The track has reached the No. 2 spot on the UK’s Official Singles Chart, marking a historic achievement for Rosé as the highest-ranking female K-pop soloist on the chart. The song’s only competition was Sailor Song by Gigi Perez, which claimed the top position.
Rosé’s APT. has been an instant sensation, quickly going viral across social media and capturing the attention of fans worldwide. Beyond its impressive No. 2 rank, the song also secured the No. 6 spot on the Official Singles Downloads Chart and entered the Official Singles Sales Chart at No. 3, alongside the Official Streaming Chart at No. 6 for its second consecutive week. This milestone places Rosé in a category of her own, surpassing previous records held by both solo and group K-pop artists on this prestigious chart.
Earlier achievements include APT. dominating the Global Spotify Chart, where it clinched the top spot and made Rosé the first female Kpop soloist to accomplish this feat. Additionally, the music video for APT. crossed 100 million views within a week of its release, making it the fastest track to achieve this milestone in 2024.

Not only has Rosé found international success, but her single APT. has also conquered South Korean music charts, achieving the revered Perfect All-Kill. This accolade signifies that the song topped various domestic charts, including Melon, Genie, Bugs and Flo, solidifying its popularity on both a global and local scale.
Amid her solo success, Rosé has announced plans to release her debut solo studio album, Rosie, set to drop on December 6, 2024. This will mark her first full-length album since joining THE BLACK LABEL, a label founded by renowned producer Teddy, as well as Atlantic Records, home to global stars like Ed Sheeran and Charli XCX. Rosé’s affiliation with these major labels has bolstered her position as a leading artist in the global pop scene.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is making her own strides in both music and acting. She has been balancing her commitments in the music industry while pursuing a promising acting career. Jisoo's fans were thrilled to see her recording at BK Studios in Seoul, signalling new music is on the way. Her upcoming drama, Newtopia, is set to release in January 2025, while her film debut, The Prophet: Omniscient Reader, co-starring Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Min Ho, is highly anticipated. Additionally, Jisoo has started shooting for a new Kdrama, Monthly Boyfriend, where she stars alongside Seo In Guk. Fans eagerly await her return to music with her next solo comeback.
