'Bro-The Avatar' stars Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej in lead roles and is helmed by filmmaker Samuthirakani. The film saw a great first weekend and churned big numbers at the box office giving tough competition to Karan Johar directorial 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.' 'Bro' eventually managed to leave behind the film and entered Rs 70 crore club in just 6 days after its release on July 28.

The film is an official Telugu remake of the Tamil film 'Vinodhaya Sitham. 'Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, 'Bro' minted big opening numbers at the box office. According to a report in Sacnilk, after a week's run, the film saw a dip and managed to earn only Rs 1.70 crore on day 7. The total domestic box office collection of the film stands at Rs 74.60 crore.

'Bro' brings together Pawan Kalyan and his nephew Sai Dharam Tej for the first time on the big screen. The film also features Priya Prakash Varrier, Ketika Sharma, Rohini, Brahmanandam, and Subbaraju in pivotal roles. The screenplay of 'Bro' is given by Trivikram Srinivas.

Looking at the box office record of the film, 'Bro' will have a tough time entering the Rs 100 crore mark in India with big releases coming next week. The box office will be jammed with promising blockbusters including 'Bholaa Shankar', 'Jailer', 'OMG2', and 'Gadar 2.'
