Music streaming platform Stationhead recently faced backlash from BTS ARMY and Stray Kids STAYs for excluding Jimin and Han in a promotional post. The post shared on January 10 via Stationhead's official X (formerly Twitter) account, featured a collage of various artists, including Blackpink's Rosé, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Zayn, Billie Eilish and Sabrina Carpenter. However, the representation of BTS and Stray Kids as groups—without key members—angered fans.
Fans were quick to notice that the BTS photo omitted Jimin, sparking outrage among ARMY. For many, BTS is a complete unit of seven members, and any exclusion feels like a slight. The hashtags "BTS IS SEVEN," "RESPECT JIMIN" and "APOLOGIZE TO JIMIN" began trending as fans voiced their disappointment.
One fan wrote, “BTS is all about unity. How can you crop out Jimin? This is disrespectful!” Another added, “If the frame was too small, you could’ve chosen a better picture. Jimin deserves respect.” Some fans expressed their frustration more directly, calling out Stationhead for their oversight. “The only artist I’ll be streaming is Jimin. How dare you disrespect him like this?”

.@STATIONHEAD the BTS photo used is not a full member photo and excluding Jimin is a form of insult. Please respect Jimin and the other members, there are lots of photos of the seven that you can use. change the photo now

Similarly, Stray Kids fans were upset by the choice of a photo that excluded Han. While the image used by Stationhead was from a shoot where Han was absent, STAYs argued that better options were available.
One fan commented, “Stationhead, please research your artists. Excluding Han is not acceptable. There are plenty of group photos with all eight members.” Another echoed the sentiment, “It’s hurtful to see our idols misrepresented. Do better.”
As the criticism mounted, Stationhead eventually deleted the controversial post. However, fans continue to demand a formal apology and greater attention to detail in future promotions. BTS, comprising Jimin, Jin, V, RM, Suga, Jungkook and J-Hope, remains a global sensation, while Stray Kids, featuring Han, Hyunjin, Felix, Bang Chan, Lee Know, I.N., Seungmin and Changbin, continues to dominate charts worldwide.
