BTS Jhope, known as the sunshine of ARMYs, has once again proven his generous spirit by making a heartfelt donation on his birthday. The rapper and dancer donated 200 million won (approximately USD 150,000) to Seoul Asan Medical Center Children’s Hospital on February 18, 2025. This marks the beginning of an annual tradition, as Jhope has expressed his commitment to continuing these donations every year on his birthday.
According to Seoul Asan Medical Center, Jhope’s donation will be used to enhance treatment facilities, improve medical environments for pediatric and adolescent patients, and support research on severe and rare pediatric diseases. The singer, known for his uplifting presence, shared his sincere hopes for children facing health challenges.
"I sincerely hope that children can dream of a healthy and hopeful future. I also wanted to repay ARMY, who always sends me so much love. I think it is truly meaningful that I will continue to donate every year starting on my birthday this year."
