BTS member Jhope is currently serving in the military and will be the second member of the group to return after the mandatory service. Fans have officially started the countdown for Jhope's return from the military as he will come back in 50 days. Despite being absent from the limelight, Jhope shared the update about his well being with his fans and also released his projects. BTS ARMY has expressed excitement about Jhope's return from the military as he will be reunited with Jin.

Jhope will be discharged from the military in October 2024. He earlier took a day off from the military to reunite with other BTS members to celebrate BTS' debut anniversary. He also released his solo album and a documentary while serving in the military as these projects were created before his enlistment.

The rapper earlier revealed that he was promoted to Sergeant and received his promotion early.

Jhope was earlier in the news after he reportedly bought the penthouse at Afer Hangang, which is Seoul's new luxury neighbourhood. The house reportedly costs about ₩12.0 billion KRW aka 8.69 million USD. Other celebrities who have purchased houses in the same area are Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, Han Hyo Joo, Soo Ae and Ryu Deok Hwan.

On the work front, Jhope released his docu-series and album earlier titled 'Hope On The Street'. BigHit Music also announced the release party ahead of the release of the album and docu-series. 'Hope On The Street' release party was organised by Club 90’s across cities in the USA, including Los Angeles, New York City and Chicago.

He also surpassed two billion streams on Spotify and joined his fellow BTS members Jungkook and Jimin.

Jhope will team up with other BTS members in 2025 after all seven members will return from the military.
