Following his honourable discharge from mandatory military service, BTS rapper Jhope, aka Jung Hoseok, had maintained a discreet presence for over a month, diverging from the path of his fellow bandmate Jin, who had completed his service in June and promptly returned to the spotlight. However, in a surprise, Jhope broke his silence on Tuesday, November 12, with an impromptu Weverse live session.

During this brief interaction, the Kpop idol reconnects with his devoted fanbase, the ARMYs, sharing personal anecdotes and updates about his life post-service. This sudden reappearance sent waves of excitement throughout the fandom, as fans eagerly devoured every moment of the live session, hungry for glimpses into Jhope's experiences and future plans.

The unexpected live stream not only showcased Jhope's enduring connection with his fans but also hinted at a potential return to the music scene, sparking anticipation among BTS enthusiasts worldwide.

During the Weverse Live, Jhope said, “I’m doing well! I can’t tell you what I’m preparing for, but I’m preparing a lot of things for you guys. Hopefully, I’ll prepare hard and also be able to give you guys good news soon. Jin Hyung’s album is coming out soon, he prepared really hard for it. I’m really looking forward to it.”

During his recent Weverse live session, Jhope opened up about his post-discharge experience, revealing that he struggled to adjust to civilian life after serving in the military. To reconnect with his pre-enlistment life, he decided to take a trip to the US, specifically Los Angeles. Reflecting on this decision, Jhope shared, "When I was discharged, it didn't quite feel real. But being here in LA, I finally feel like I've truly been discharged."
