BTS Jhope aka Jung Hoseok recently opened a public TikTok account to entertain ARMY with his music. He recently shared a video of himself grooving in a trending song of Doechii which is Denial Is A River. The video came amidst Doechii won ‘Best Rap Album’ at the 2025 Grammy Awards. But the TikTok video of Jhope didn’t go well with many of the people. Netizens on social media said that he shared the post for clout following Doechii’s Grammy win. While some criticised his video but some also came in support of their idol.

While resharing a post of the video, a user said, “STOP HARASSING BLACK WOMEN.” Another user wrote, “he wants clout coz he's flopping.” 

On the other hand, a fan said, “Yesterday Doechii became the 3rd woman in HISTORY to win Best Rap Album and today Hoseok came and joined DENIAL IS A RIVER challenge… it was literally a congratulations post i just know that my feminist king was so happy for her #jhope.” Another user said, “Kpop isn't fun anymore " and y'all are out there harassing idols for breathing.” 

After winning the Grammy award, Doechii shared a long post on Instagram to share her gratitude. She wrote “I feel everything. there aren’t any words to accurately describe the love vibrating through me in this moment. my heart is full. I want to highlight the people who helped orchestrate one of the most important nights of my career. Many sleepless nights that led up to this one night so let’s highlight and honor them!” 

Denial Is A River is a hit track from 2024 album Doechii Alligator Bites Never Heal. The album has 19 songs which include stanka pooh, bullfrog, boiled peanuts, denial is a river, catfish, skipp, hide n seek, bloom, wait, death roll, profit, boom bap, nissan altima, gtfo, huh!, slide, fireflies, beverly hills and alligator bites never heal.
