BTS' J-Hope and BLACKPINK's Jennie have made an unforgettable mark on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with their latest releases. Both artists are setting new records, showing their undeniable global influence.

BTS member J-Hope’s newest solo track, Sweet Dreams, featuring American singer Miguel, debuted at No. 66 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Released on March 7, the soulful song quickly gained traction, becoming a fan favourite. According to Billboard’s March 18 announcement, Sweet Dreams holds the title of the highest-charting Kpop song debut in 2025 so far.

The song’s success doesn’t stop there. It soared to No. 1 on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales chart, making it the best-selling track of the week in the United States. Globally, Sweet Dreams entered the Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 12 and claimed No. 16 on the Global 200. J-Hope also made a strong comeback to Billboard’s Artist 100, re-entering at No. 74 for his 13th non-consecutive week as a solo artist.

Her collaboration with Dua Lipa, Handlebars, debuted at No. 80, while the title track JENNIE entered the chart at No. 83. Additionally, her pre-release song ExtraL, featuring Doechii, re-entered the chart at No. 99, having previously made its debut.

With this, Jennie became the first female Kpop soloist to have three songs chart on the Hot 100 simultaneously. She also now holds the record for the most individual Hot 100 entries by a female Kpop soloist, with six tracks in total. Her other charting songs include One of the Girls, Mantra, and Love Hangover.

The third week of March has proven to be a landmark moment for Kpop, with Jhope and Jennie leading the charge. Their Billboard success highlights their continued dominance and the ever-growing global love for Kpop.
