BTS Jin recently revealed his current favourite Kpop song and it’s none other than BLACKPINK Rosé’s chart-topping collaboration with Bruno Mars, APT. The unexpected revelation has left both ARMYs and BLINKs thrilled, showcasing the camaraderie between two of the biggest names in the K-pop industry. ARMYs and BLINKs, the loyal fanbases of both groups took a moment to celebrate this event and some even wished for a collab between the two biggest Kpop groups, especially when the two are rumoured to make a comeback in the coming year. 

On November 22, Jin appeared in a Spotify video to discuss his recently released solo album, Happy. During the session, he was asked about the K-pop track he’s currently enjoying. Jin candidly shared that Rosé’s APT is at the top of his playlist, even singing a snippet of the chorus. Fans were quick to point out how well the song suited Jin’s voice, sparking admiration across social media.

While BLACKPINK and BTS are often considered global competitors in the music scene, Jin’s gesture of support demonstrates the mutual respect shared among Kpop idols. Fans of both groups applauded his honest acknowledgement of the song’s appeal.

In the same interview, Jin spoke about a recent conversation with BTS’ youngest member, Jungkook. Sharing advice for his bandmate currently serving in the military, Jin said, “You still got a lot of time in the army, so work hard.” His words reflect his own experience as the first BTS member to complete military service.

November 15 marked Jin’s solo comeback with his highly-anticipated album Happy. The album features six tracks, including the pre-release single I’ll Be There, which debuted on October 25. This emotional track showcased a new dimension of Jin’s musical talent and received widespread acclaim from fans.

The title track, Running Wild, along with other B-sides like Another Level, Falling, I Will Come to You and Heart on the Window (featuring Red Velvet’s Wendy), further solidifies Jin’s prowess as a solo artist. Fans can also look forward to Jin’s upcoming variety show appearances as he continues to focus on his solo career. While his next group activity with BTS is anticipated in 2025, Jin’s solo projects have undoubtedly added a refreshing layer to his artistic journey.
