BTS member V is preparing for a festive musical treat this holiday season. On November 21, V revealed that he will release a new duet titled Winter Ahead, collaborating with renowned Korean singer Park Hyo Shin. The track is set to drop on November 29, just in time to add some holiday cheer to your playlist.

Winter Ahead is a jazz-pop song inspired by V’s heartfelt wish for his fans to have a warm and joyful winter. The collaboration highlights V's deep love for jazz, a genre he's long admired. In fact, the BTS star personally reached out to Park Hyo Shin, with whom he shares a close friendship, to create this special song. Written by Jesse Harris, the composer behind Norah Jones’ hit Don’t Know Why, the track is expected to bring a cosy and soulful vibe to the holiday season.

This new release comes ahead of V’s highly anticipated duet with the Bing Crosby estate, a newly restored version of White Christmas. V has expressed his excitement about working with Crosby’s legendary voice, calling it an honour to be part of a project with one of his idols.

Fans can look forward to Winter Ahead and the White Christmas collaboration as part of V's festive offerings this year, following his previous holiday releases like Snow Flower and Christmas Tree. Despite being in the South Korean military, V continues to share his music with fans, making this holiday season even more special.
