BTS ARMY or fan-turned-songwriter has revealed how a dream she held for five years finally came true. X (formerly Twitter) user @itsshorelle shared her inspiring story of contributing to Jin’s debut solo album Happy by penning the beautiful b-side track Heart on the Window.
Five years ago, @itsshorelle attended BTS’ sold-out concert at the iconic Wembley Stadium. At the time, she was a university student in London, juggling her studies and aspirations to break into the competitive Kpop songwriting industry. Kpop’s global reach was still growing and pursuing a career in the genre wasn’t widely understood or supported. Despite the challenges, the energy of BTS’ performance and the emotional connection she felt during the concert sparked a promise to herself: one day, she would write a song for BTS.

Fast forward to today, and that dream has become a reality. The track Heart on the Window, which features Jin and Red Velvet’s Wendy, is now part of Happy, Jin’s solo album that has captured fans' hearts worldwide. Sharing her story on social media, @itsshorelle posted a photo of her ticket stubs from the Wembley concert alongside a heartfelt reflection on her journey.
I really do believe we have a responsibility towards our dreams and most importantly, to that version of ourselves that nurtured and fed that dream despite what everyone around them was saying. Thanks for including this quote it’s going in my inspiration moodboard for sure 💜✨ https://t.co/24kaUyvFDA
