Jungkook's song 'Seven' broke several records worldwide but got into a controversy after composer Yang Joon Young accused the song of borrowing the same scale sequence as Fin.K.Lโ€™s song 'Time of Mask'.

BTS' agency BigHit Music responded to the accusations and claimed that these allegations were false. "We would like to reveal that allegations claiming Jungkookโ€™s Seven was plagiarized are false. Seven was made through a collaboration of five international producers and has no relation to the song that is part of a domestic album from 24 years ago. The allegations are one-sided, and the song does not meet any criteria that are used for judging plagiarism,โ€ the statement reads.

He released two of his solo songs 'Still With You' and 'My You' on Spotify ahead of the release of 'Seven'.
