BTS Jungkook's solo track, Seven featuring American rapper Latto, has officially crossed 2 billion streams on Spotify, making it the first Asian song to ever reach this milestone. As of October 24, 2024, Seven has garnered an impressive 1,996,981,123 streams on the platform, pushing Jungkook into the elite 2 billion club. This remarkable achievement came not long after the song broke another record by becoming the most-streamed song by an Asian artist, surpassing even BTS' global hit Dynamite.
Released as a prelude to his debut solo album GOLDEN, Seven quickly became a fan favourite following its July 14, 2023, debut. The song’s catchy tune, combined with Latto's dynamic rap and Jungkook’s smooth vocals, helped it dominate music charts worldwide. The track also peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, further cementing Jungkook's place as a global star.

Although Jungkook enlisted for his mandatory military service on December 12, 2023, he hasn't stopped creating music. In June 2024, he released a special solo single, "Never Let Go," as part of BTS FESTA 2024, celebrating the group's 11th debut anniversary. Fans can expect his discharge from the military in June 2025, after which he is likely to reunite with his fellow BTS members.
