After sharing glimpses of her trip on Instagram, the actor received an overwhelming response from fans who flooded the comments section upon spotting wall art featuring BTS members Jung Kook and Jimin in the background.

It seems that Monami is more of a traveller than a typical tourist, as she seeks to experience the authentic flavours and vibes of each country she visits. In Korea, she immersed herself in the local cuisine and markets, savouring the true essence of the place. Opting for a casual airport look, she was seen wearing a black hoodie.

Just like anyone else, actors also need to unwind, and that's exactly what Monami did by flying to Korea to enjoy some quality time away from the bustling city of Kolkata. Throughout her trip, she made new acquaintances who helped her dress appropriately for the occasion.

For the unversed, back in 2021, during the Covid-induced lockdown, Monami surprised her fans with a new hairstyle – fringes. "Every year I get fringes during the winter. But for the past two years, I couldn’t as I was playing the lead in a serial. The character I played required me to have long hair. Now that it's over, I am free to style my hair the way I wish to. I am a huge fan of the BTS band and a few of their members have fringes. That was an inspiration! Their enthusiasm on stage motivates me a lot. The way they perform on stage is something I envy," Monami had told TOI.
