BTS RM aka Kim Namjoon has been making headlines as he stays active during his military service. Recently, he was seen rehearsing with his army band for the Hwacheon Tomato Festival, which kicks off today. Fans were excited to catch a glimpse of the Kpop star, with many clips surfacing online.

At the festival, RM was captured in various fan-taken videos, showcasing his dedication as he prepared for his performance. Dressed in a black t-shirt and his 15th division military band uniform, the rapper was involved in several tasks, including setting up equipment and conducting sound checks. His enthusiasm for the performance was evident as he collaborated with his fellow soldiers.

While at the festival, RM’s presence sparked speculation among fans regarding a potential promotion to Corporal. Many noted that the cap he wore featured three stripes, a rank insignia typically associated with a Corporal. Although this has yet to be confirmed, it wouldn’t be surprising given RM’s commitment and recognition within the military.

Since enlisting in December 2024 alongside bandmate V, RM has continued to receive accolades for his hard work and dedication. His expected discharge is in June 2025, after which he will reunite with the remaining BTS members to continue their musical journey.

In addition to his military commitments, RM recently released his second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, on May 24, 2024. The album showcases his artistic vision, featuring the introspective title track LOST! and highlights his ability to convey genuine emotions through his music.
