BTS Suga has reached a significant milestone in his mandatory military service, having completed 50 per cent of his duty. As of August 6, 2024, SUGA has served 320 days out of his 639-day requirement, leaving him with just 319 days until his discharge. Fans are eagerly anticipating his return to the entertainment world and the release of new music.
SUGA, whose real name is Min Yoongi, enlisted in the South Korean military on September 22, 2023. Unlike some of his fellow BTS members who serve as active-duty soldiers, SUGA was enlisted as a public service worker. The service period for public service workers is typically longer, which explains their extended duty compared to active-duty soldiers. His discharge is scheduled for June 21, 2025.
