BTS Suga aka Min Yoongi has received massive support from the Kpop group's global fanbase, ARMYs, amid his recent DUI controversy. In a display of love and solidarity, Indian BTS fans recently made headlines by sending a support truck to South Korea for BTS member Suga. The truck, spotted outside HYBE headquarters, was adorned with messages of encouragement written in multiple Indian languages, emphasizing the unwavering backing of Suga during a challenging time.
The truck carried the heartfelt message 'BTS is seven', a statement that fans worldwide, including those from India, are passionately sharing. This slogan underlines the idea that BTS is incomplete without any of its members, a sentiment Indian ARMYs are standing firmly by. Despite recent controversies surrounding Suga, these fans are making it clear that they believe he should remain an integral part of the group.

This show of support comes in light of Suga’s involvement in a drunk driving case. The incident occurred in early August when the BTS rapper was caught riding an electric scooter under the influence. According to reports, Suga’s blood alcohol content (BAC) was allegedly 0.227% (the BAC amount has not been officially confirmed since then, significantly over the legal limit in South Korea. His case was quickly investigated and after several hearings, the Seoul Western District Court fined him 15 million KRW.
Suga was summarily indicted by the Seoul Western District Prosecutor’s Office, which means that instead of a formal trial, a fine was imposed based on written evidence. The Road Traffic Act in South Korea stipulates severe penalties for DUI cases, including heavy fines or imprisonment, depending on the level of alcohol in the driver’s system.

While protest trucks calling for Suga's withdrawal from BTS were seen around Seoul, including at Nine One Hannam where the accident occurred, the overwhelming fan response has been one of loyalty and love.
