The Cannes Film Festival is in full swing on the French Riviera as stars from around the world gather at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès. Numerous celebrities have descended upon Cannes, France, for the 77th edition of the prestigious festival. Among them is Bhojpuri actor Pradeep Pandey Chintu, known for his roles in movies such as Deewana, Dulaara, and Mohabbat. As he makes his debut to the prestigious gala event, the actor took to his social media and dropped a photo of himself expressing his happiness.
Calling it historic, Pradeep Pandey wrote, "At Cannes Film Festival, France, It's a great pride for all of us to have our Bhojpuri film 'Agnisakshi' for the first time at International Film Festival 'Cannes', our Bhojpuri language reach. Your endless love and blessings have brought me this far. Where big stars of Hollywood and Bollywood are being called for the first time a Bhojpuri artist was called, this is the victory of all of us Bhojpuria. Best wishes to all Bhojpuris for this historic day. A new history has been created today. Love you all."

About Pradeep Pandey Chintu
Pradeep Pandey 'Chintu' is a well-known figure in the Bhojpuri film fraternity. Making his mark at the age of 30, he debuted as a male lead in the film 'Deewana' in 2009. Since then, he has graced the silver screen in movies such as Vivah, Mehandi Laga Ke Rakhna 2, Truck Driver 2, Rangeela, and Dulhan Chahi Pakistan Se, among others. His outstanding performance earned him the Dadasaheb Phalke Best Young Star Award in 2016.
Apart from him, Deepti Sadhwani, known for her role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, marked her debut at the Cannes Film Festival, gracing the event for the screening of "Le Deuxième Acte" (The Second Act). She stunned in a strapless gown adorned with embellishments, complemented by a voluminous jacket featuring faux feathers. The off-shoulder dress, designed by Aanchal Dey, exuded glamour with its blingy details. She shared pictures from the event on her social media and wrote, "Dreams do come true , and so did mine .. As a child always dreamed about it and finally at the opening ceremony of the 77th Cannes Film Festival at the French Riviera."
