Tamil actor Vishal completed his round of CBI interrogation in the Central Board of Film Certification (CFBC) bribe case and shared his experience. Through his social media platform, he mentioned that he responded to several questions posed by the officials and also took the opportunity to ask a few questions himself, including inquiries about how a CBI officer looks on duty.
Taking to X, he stated, "Just finished my visit to CBI office in Mumbai for an enquiry regarding the CBFC case. Was a complete new experience and am glad the way the enquiry is being conducted. Took some inputs too about how a CBI office would look like. Lol. Never ever thought in my life I will be going to this Govt office too. Need to step in to stand up against corruption in real life too and not just in reel life."

In September, Vishal made serious allegations against the Mumbai CBFC, claiming he was asked to pay bribe to obtain censor certification for the Hindi version of 'Mark Antony,' a Tamil period sci-fi film. The Tamil star shared bank transaction screenshots between himself and a middleman allegedly involved in the certification process. Promptly responding to the allegations, the central government initiated an investigation into the matter.
In his allegations, Vishal shared a video on social media, where he claimed that CBFC allegedly asked him to pay a bribe worth Rs 6.5 lakh. In his post on X, he stated that he paid Rs 3 lakh for screening and Rs 3.5 lakh to obtain a U/A certificate through a detailed back transaction. "The issue of corruption in CBFC brought forth by actor @VishalKOfficial is extremely unfortunate. The Government has zero tolerance for corruption and strictest action will be taken against anyone found involved. A senior officer from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting has been deputed to Mumbai to conduct an inquiry today itself," he said.
#Corruption being shown on silver screen is fine. But not in real life. Cant digest. Especially in govt offices. And even worse happening in #CBFC Mumbai office. Had to pay 6.5 lacs for my film #MarkAntonyHindi version. 2 transactions. 3 Lakhs for screening and 3.5 Lakhs for… pic.twitter.com/3pc2RzKF6l
