Chhaava: Vicky Kaushal is leaving no stone unturned in taking the excitement for his upcoming period drama Chhaava to the next level. The actor will appear in a never-seen-before avatar, playing the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the movie. Ahead of its release, which is slated for February 14, the makers are keeping movie buffs engaged by unveiling new posters and songs. Vicky recently dropped an intense poster on social media.
On Wednesday, Vicky Kaushal took to his Instagram handle to share a thrilling new poster from Chhaava, accompanied by the caption, “Milte hain #ChhaavaDiwas par!" In the photo, he is seen covered in blood, a scene from his battle with Mughal ruler Aurangzeb.
Fans reacted with excitement on his latest post. One user wrote, "I know what happens in the climax Jai Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj," while another commented, "@vickykaushal09 as #chhaava, you nailed it."

About Chhaava
Chhaava is a historical drama that portrays the inspiring journey of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. The film focuses on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha kingdom. Vicky is joined by Rashmika Mandanna as his wife in the movie. The character of Akshaye Khanna has intrigued fans following the release of the trailer and moviegoers are eagerly awaiting the war and face-off between Vicky and Akshaye’s characters.
In addition to Vicky, the movie features Diana Penty, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Pradeep Rawat in key roles. The film is helmed by Laxman Utekar, who is known for his critically acclaimed works like Mimi and Luka Chuppi. After Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, Chhaava marks the second collaboration between Utekar and Vicky Kaushal. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke was released in 2023 and also starred Sara Ali Khan. Chhaava is produced by Dinesh Vijan.
