After actor Mansoor Ali Khan made derogatory remarks about his 'Leo' co-star Trisha Krishnan, Singer Chinmayi Sripaada once again criticised him on social media. During a recent press event, Khan expressed disappointment over not having a 'bedroom scene' with Trisha in the movie, starring Vijay Thalapathy as lead. His comments sparked widespread criticism due to their perceived sexism. Trisha too confronted Mansoor Ali Khan for his sexist comments against her. While the actors were part of Lokesh Kanagaraj's film 'Leo,' they didn't share screen space.

Chinmayi Sripada statement

The singer took to X and penned, "It's been approximately 2-3 days since Mansoor Ali Khan's abusive remarks during a press meet. I have been waiting to see if ANY Union has given him a red card, suspended him, some disciplinary action. Nothing. Apparently he was only told to give an apology in front of the media. On the contrary - I was banned pretty immediately for saying I got molested by a Padma award winning Lyricist who is a known serial offender. And 5 years later, I still have various Industry 'veterans' giving interviews shaming me for speaking up. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha. Ha."

Mansoor Ali Khan Vs Trisha

Recently, a video of Mansoor Ali Khan from one of his interviews surfaced on social media, where he was allegedly made some inappropriate comments about Trisha. In response, the actress expressed strong condemnation, labeling the remarks as sexist, disrespectful, and repulsive. Trisha vowed to avoid sharing screen space with someone like him, ensuring it won't happen in her future film career, stating that individuals like him bring disgrace to humanity. "A recent video has come to my notice where Mr Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner. I strongly condemn this and find it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive and in bad taste. He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind."

What Mansoor Ali Khan said?

Khan expressed his thoughts in his native language, mentioning his expectations of a bedroom scene with Trisha in the film. He compared it to his past roles and experiences. "When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought that I could carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes in a number of movies and it's not new to me. But these guys didn't even show Trisha to me on the sets during the Kashmir schedule."
