However, these rumours have now been debunked. According to recent reports, the casting of Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi in the period drama has not been confirmed.

The speculation began when it was rumoured that Choi Woo Shik had been offered the male lead role alongside Kim Da Mi, who was reportedly considering the female lead role in A Hundred Memories. This news sparked excitement among fans, as it would mark their third project together, following their successful collaborations in the drama Our Beloved Summer and the film The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion.

On August 30, 2024, Xsports News reported that the rumours of their casting were unfounded. A statement from the broadcaster clarified that Choi Woo Shik had not been offered the role and that the casting process for the drama is still ongoing. The broadcaster emphasized that no actors have been confirmed for the project at this stage.

A Hundred Memories, a JTBC drama set to begin production in January 2025, is a period piece that delves into the friendships and love stories of bus guides in the 1980s. While fans may be disappointed that the reunion of Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi hasn't been confirmed, the drama still holds promise with its unique setting and storyline.
