Good news for ARMY and UAENA! The highly anticipated dream team of Suga (also known as Min Yoongi), a member of the immensely popular K-pop boyband BTS, and the renowned soloist, IU (also known as Lee Ji Eun), are all set to collaborate once again.

BigHit Music recently confirmed the news via their Instagram story, which has sent fans into a frenzy. The music label, which represents the BTS rapper, shared a teaser poster for his upcoming song, People Pt.2, where IU's name is also featured.

People Pt. 2 is a preview song that will be included in the first official album of the BTS member, Suga, titled D-DAY, which is scheduled for release on April 7. Like his fellow BTS members Jung Hoseok (also known as J-Hope), Kim Namjoon (known as RM), and Park Jimin, Suga is also set to release his first solo album. The third and final part of the Agust D series will be available on April 21 at 1 PM KST (9:30 am IST).

For the unversed, Suga has prior experience as a solo artist and has gained recognition in the music industry for his mixed tapes as well as his impressive and diverse work as a producer. As a member of BTS, he has co-written and produced many of the group's most popular songs such as Blood Sweat & Tears and Dynamite.

Additionally, he has released solo music under the name Agust D, including his mixtape Agust D and its subsequent release D-2. Fans of BTS, known as the ARMY, view him not only as a talented and versatile rapper, but also for his introspective lyrics and clever wordplay.

IU, who is also called Nation's Little Sister, is famous for her unique singing voice, sentimental ballads, and captivating pop songs. She has been honoured with multiple accolades for her music, including several Grand Prize awards at the Melon Music Awards and Mnet Asian Music Awards. She is also known for her decent acting ability and has appeared in several Korean dramas, including Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Hotel del Luna, and My Mister.

The two outstanding artists have previously worked together on a collaboration. In 2020, IU and Suga came together for the song Eight, which achieved great success both in South Korea and internationally.

The track highlighted both artists' distinct styles and skills, with IU's singing and songwriting complementing Suga's rap verses and production. Fans of both artists were eagerly anticipating their collaboration, given their devoted and enthusiastic fan bases. It appears that their wish has now come true.
