Daaku Maharaaj In Tamil: Nandamuri Balakrishna and Bobby Deol starrer Telugu action movie Daaku Maharaaj is garnering a positive response from the audience. The film, which hit cinemas on January 12, has maintained a strong hold at the box office. Amid this success, the makers are set to release the movie in Tamil. They announced the release date on social media.

Daaku Maharaaj's Tamil Version Release Date

As announced by the makers on its X handle, the Tamil version of Daaku Maharaaj will release in theatres on January 17, 2025. The makers’ post read, “The sensation that shook the box office and won hearts in Telugu. Now ready to ROAR in Tamil from tomorrow! Experience the #BlockbusterHuntingDaakuMaharaaj with your loved ones.”

Helmed by Bobby Kohli and bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya. The film centers around the story of a robber who tries to establish his territory in a village amid conflicts with influential adversaries. The Telugu movie stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Urvashi Rautela, and Bobby Deol in lead roles. The film marks Deol's debut in Telugu cinema. Besides them, Daaku Maharaaj also features Payal Rajput, Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. As per reports, the film was made on an approximate Rs 100 crore budget. The film has so far collected Rs 9.00 crore on Day 4 and the net collection of Daaku Maharaaj stands at Rs 59.40 crore, according to a Sacnilk report.

Amid all the success, the film has created a buzz with its song Dabidi Dibidi, which featured Urvashi Rautela and Nandamuri Balakrishna. The dance steps of the actors in the song sparked controversy, with some netizens noting that Urvashi appeared 'uncomfortable' performing with Nandamuri Balakrishna. Recently, Urvashi Rautela broke her silence and commented on the song's controversy.
