Sonakshi Sinha has set made her OTT debut with the web series 'Dahaad' in which she will be seen as a police officer trying to solve a series of murders. Apart from Sonakshi, the web series also stars Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah in the lead role.

The series is directed by Reema Kagti along with Ruchika Oberoi and is also created by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. Dahaad is produced by Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby. Sonakshi Sinha will play the role of sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati who is tasked with the investigation of women found dead in public bathrooms. The series will have eight episodes.
On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in 'Double XL' along with Huma Qureshi. Meanwhile, it has been reported that Sonakshi Sinha will soon join the star cast of 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'.
According to a report by Pinkvilla, Sonakshi Sinha will play a pivotal role in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Talking about her role in the film, Sonakshi told Pinkvilla, "I'm excited to be a part of this amazing ensemble cast for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. It's always a pleasure to work with Akshay, and I'm looking forward to working with Tiger for the first time. Ali Abbas Zafar is a brilliant director, and I have no doubt that this film is going to be a blockbuster. I can't wait for audiences to see what we have in store for them."
Sonakshi will also star in 'Heeramandi', which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The web series will release on Netflix and also stars Manisha Koirala and Aditi Rao Hydari.
