Maharashtra followed closely with a collection of Rs 15.8 lakh, while Karnataka made a notable contribution of Rs 7.46 lakh. Telangana also played its part in the success, earning an estimated Rs 4.91 lakh.

Animal

The final advance booking box office collection for Day 1 of ‘Animal’ reached 8.9 Crore nett (10.5 Crore gross), with a substantial sale of 150,000 tickets at National Multiplexes, including PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis. Notably, ‘Animal’ has outperformed in advance bookings compared to films like Tiger 3, Gadar 2, and Brahmastra, trailing behind only Jawan and Pathaan in the current trend.

Hi Nanna

‘Hi Nanna’ is an upcoming romantic family drama in Telugu, marking the directorial debut of Shouryuv. Produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM), Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala, and Murthy K. S. under Vyra Entertainments, the film features Nani and Mrunal Thakur in pivotal roles. If the reports are to be believed, the movie has the potential to garner a global lifetime earning ranging between ₹150 to ₹200 Crores.

Dunki

Going by the trend, if Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki outperforms the same way like Pathaan and Jawan, it will create history at the box office. Fans are also speculating that the film could potentially achieve the prestigious milestone of entering the Rs 1000 crore club. Dunki will hit the theatres on December 22, 2023.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

In a strategic move, the Jason Momoa-led sequel adjusted its release, sidestepping a clash with superstar Shah Rukh Khan's film 'Dunki.' Initially slated for a simultaneous release on December 22 alongside 'Dunki,' 'Aquaman 2' will now hit the screens a day earlier in India, on December 21. As the Hollywood release gears up to premiere alongside SRK's film, the competition at the box office remains uncertain.

According to the most recent estimates from Box Office Pro, Aquaman 2 is expected to accumulate domestic lifetime earnings ranging from $105 million to $168 million. The film, directed by James Wan, was produced with an impressive budget of $205 million. Consequently, its success at the box office hinges on substantial earnings from international markets.

Salaar

Great anticipation surrounds Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire, an action-thriller directed by Prashanth Neel, renowned for his success with the KGF franchise. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju. Scheduled for a theatrical release on December 22, 2023, Salaar holds immense promise with its impressive lineup and the director's proven track record.

According to a report in TOI, Salaar has amassed $243,557 (Rs 2.03 crore) across 306 locations, selling approximately 9,225 tickets for 939 shows. Remarkably, these numbers have been generated with the film still 24 days away from its release. Although the advance booking initially displayed a robust pace, it has witnessed a slowdown, particularly following the unveiling of ‘Animal' trailer.
