Veera Dheera Sooran faced major trouble after the Delhi High Court imposed an interim stay on the release of Chiyaan Vikram's Tamil action thriller. The film was supposed to be released today morning, but faced issues with the morning and noon shows as they were cancelled in several locations. As per a report by News 18 Tamil, a Mumbai-based production company, B4U, filed a petition seeking compensation from the film’s producer for allegedly not crediting the contract of selling the OTT rights before release. This affected the overseas screening and Tamil Nadu’s early morning shows.

After making several negotiations at the court, both parties reached a mutual understanding. The court ordered the makers of Veera Dheera Sooran to pay Rs 7 crore within 48 hours to B4U. As per reports, Chiyaan Vikram, SJ Suryah and director SU Arun Kumar have come forward to pay the sum to the film’s producer. Now, as per recent reports, the movie is likely to release in theatres from noon onwards. 

Coming back to Veera Dheera Sooran, the story is about a provision store owner named Kali, who is a loving husband and a father. His life turned upside down after he got entangled in a dangerous crime network. The action thriller movie features Chiyaan Vikram, Dushara Vijayan, SJ Surya, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Siddique in key roles. The film has been directed by S. U. Arun Kumar. The movie has been produced by Riya Shibu under the production banner of HR Pictures. Veera Dheera Sooran has a total runtime of 162 minutes. The music in the film has been composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Notably, the movie is set to face a clash with Mohanlal’s L2 Empuraan. 

While announcing the news about the opening of film’s advance booking, Chiyaan Vikram wrote on his social media handles, “What’s COOKING? #VeeraDheeraSooran’s BOOKING!! Open now!! #Veeradheerasooranbookingsopennow.”
