Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Leo has been months of anticipation. The movie will hit the theatres on October 19, 2023 and will star Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles, while Sanjay Dutt will play the role of antagonist. The movie has a massive buzz in the South belt, but the audience in North is also excited for the upcoming magnum opus. Despite this, the movie will not see a multiplex release, as reported by 123Telugu.

According to a report, producer Lalith Kumar revealed that 'Leo' will not have a multiplex release owing to unspecified issues, it will only premiere in 2000 single-screen theatres. The upcoming choice is anticipated to significantly influence the box office earnings of the movie in the Northern Indian area. At the same time, enthusiastic fans from Northern India are passionately appealing to the movie producers to reconsider their strategy and incorporate multiplexes in the distribution plan.
