About Devara
Devara Carnage has surpassed ₹405 crores in global box office earnings during its first week and continues to perform strongly across all locations. Starring Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor, the film features a talented supporting cast, including Chaitra Rai, Shruti Marathe, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma, and Kalaiyarasan. While the performances have garnered praise, reviews have been mixed, particularly regarding the film's action sequences and direction by Koratala Siva.
Set in a post-independence coastal village, the story follows the son of a village chief who pretends to be weak while taking on a mission against smuggling, all while claiming his deceased father is still alive. Produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Kosaraju Harikrishna, Sudhakar Mikkilineni, and Hari Krishna K, Devara was initially scheduled for release on October 10, but the filmmakers decided to move the date up to avoid competition during the festive season.
