In a conversation with Zoom, Siva has shed some light on the highly anticipated sequel to Devara, revealing exciting details about the film's cast. Unlike other filmmakers, he expressed his disinterest in incorporating cameo roles, instead opting for meaningful and significant character additions.

He hinted at introducing fresh faces to the franchise, which will be announced soon. The director confessed to having a personal wish list of actors, with Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor being his top choices to join the world of Devara. Meanwhile, production on the sequel is already underway, with 20 days of shooting completed and pre-production work in progress.

In a recent interview, director Koratala Siva shed light on the status of Devara 2, emphasising Jr NTR's schedule as the decisive factor. "We've already shot 25 minutes of crucial footage for Devara part 2," Siva revealed.
