The makers of Kuberaa have dropped a new look of Dhanush from his upcoming movie. In the all new look, Dhanush has transformed as Deva, hunting for inner conflict, solitude, and strength. The poster showcases Dhanush in a powerful dual visual — contemplative and intense in profile, while walking barefoot along a beach, radiating both vulnerability and grit. Fans can expect a character unlike any he’s played before.
The movie is all set to hit the theatres on June 20, 2025. Kuberaa has been directed by National Award-winner Sekhar Kammula and it marks the first collaboration between the filmmaker and Dhanush. With music by Devi Sri Prasad and a powerful production team backing it, the film is already creating waves online.
Kuberaa marks Dhanush’s 51st movie as the lead actor. Nagarjuna is also a part of the movie, which makes it even more exciting to look forward to. The principal photography commenced in February 2024, while the official title was announced in March. The movie was shot in Hyderabad and Mumbai.
Kuberaa’s music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while the cinematography has been done by Niketh Bommireddy, editing by Karthika Srinivas and production design by Thota Tharani.
