Dhoomam OTT Release: It appears that the OTT rights for the upcoming thriller Dhoomam, starring Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil and directed by Kannada filmmaker Pawan Kumar, have already been sold. The film is being produced by Hombale Films. Pawan, on the other hand, is a renowned filmmaker, known for directing acclaimed movies like Lucia and U-Turn.

The streaming rights for the gripping thriller Dhoomam, featuring acclaimed Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil, have reportedly been acquired even before its release. The film is being backed by Hombale Films which recognised for their notable contributions to superhit south Indian films.

As per the latest update, the producers of the film have sold the streaming rights of Dhoomam to Amazon Prime Video. Interestingly, Amazon Prime Video had also acquired the streaming rights for Fahadh Faasil's previous release, Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum, which is currently available for streaming in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu languages.

While an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited, if the reports are to be believed, the film is expected to be available for streaming on Prime Video approximately a month after its theatrical release.

The distribution of Dhoomam in Kerala will be handled by Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames, both of which have previously partnered with Hombale Films for the Malayalam version of Yash's KGF: Chapter 2 and Rishab Shetty's Kantara. The companies are also set to co-produce Mohanlal's L2: Empuraan later this year.

Last week, the makers unveiled the trailer of Dhoomam, giving fans a glimpse into the suspenseful story that revolves around themes of greed, betrayal, and kidnapping. In a previous interview, director Pawan had expressed his satisfaction in bringing this story to life in Malayalam, working alongside some of the industry's finest talents, including Fahadh, Aparna, and Roshan.

Achyuth Kumar, who is the sole Kannada actor in the film, has gone the extra mile by dubbing his lines in Malayalam for his role in Dhoomam, originally titled C10H14N2 in Kannada.
